Service Projects

  • Knitting Peggy Squares to make blankets donated to MidCentral District Health Board’s child health services, and distributed to various groups within the community

  • Distributing hand knitted children’s jerseys and beanies to Caring for Families Aotearoa

  • Knitting adult beanies for MASH Trust recipients

  • Provide Christmas gifts annually to around 100 people who visit the LUCK centre, part of the MASH Trust

  • Daffodil Day Street appeal for the Cancer Society

  • Making wheat bags for our local hospice

  • Sewing toilet bags filled with a comb, soap, tissues, toothbrush and toothpaste that are distributed by the Palmerston North Hospital

  • Collecting linen, towels, toiletries and household goods for the Maori Women's Refuge and Camellia House

  • Donating to Look Good Feel Better

  • Helping with the Christmas Tree of Remembrance for our local hospice

    • Craft group - sewing and knitting
