We have had Christmas celebrations at member’s homes and Sue was always keen to put her name down for dessert, so she was our Pavlova Queen. No one could make pavlova’s like Sue. It looks as if pavlova will be off the menu now.
She was proud of her girls and grandchildren and often talked to some members what they were up to. In her last weeks after coming back from their trip to China, Sue managed to knit some peggy squares in the Hospital and Hospice. These squares will go into a blanket which will be given to an elderly person in need of warmth.
