A Garden Party

We held our District outing in Government House Gardens in Auckland and had an Easter theme.  The ladies were asked to wear Easter bonnets and also bring eggs for the children in Starship Children's Hospital in Auckland.  Some of our members had afternoon tea with style and brought the silver tea service and cake stands and others drank champagne.  We even sent the menfolk out on an Easter egg hunt because we did not have  enough children present. We were told there could be up to 300 children in the Hospital and the ladies were so generous that I am convinced that I delivered many more.
